Hi Linda, I have the SMBII's as well as Davis Splint boots,
(PVC type in purple of course!:) Anyway, the thing I didn't
like about the SMB's are that they attract alot of dirt,
dust and rocks. Hard to keep clean too, especially if you
have stickers/etc. I really like the Davis splint boots,
not expensive, EASY to clean, even in the middle of a ride,
just rinse! They are a little harder to fit. Donte actually
should have a between size of small/med. so they tend to
turn on his front a little, not on the back, where the fit
is fine. Hope this helps! BTW, we use for interference
only, if he didn't interfere, we just wouldn't use them at
all! I did buy the ice cells for the SMB and they are very
cool! (Since Donte is still recuperating and gets iced
daily!)
