We don't have NATRC here in Washington but we do have CTR.  Your second
paragraph says it so well!  It drives me crazy too so don't ride them
much anymore.  Also CTR here is dwindling away and the sponsors wonder
why!!  Never has more than a few riders and very few of the new people
do a second ride.
