Unless it's commonly called something else as well, I didn't find a
description of bristle grass in my poisonous plants text.  As far as the red
clover, I think that it's yellow or white sweet clover that are primarily
the species to be careful of.  If they spoil, they produce dicoumarol, which
is an anticoagulant (slows the blood from clotting).  In large enough
amounts for a long enough time, it can contribute to hemmorhage.  The only
problem ascribed specifically to red clover is that it can get moldy patches
which produce an alkaloid called slaframine, which causes salivation in
livestock consuming either the pasture or the hay.  Didn't seem to be a
major concern.
