Tevis: Denise Thornton Horse Incident

The Western States Trail Foundation has not been oblivious to the recent spate of posts regarding the "dead" horse incident this year at Tevis.  Immediately after the Tevis weekend, an investigation was begun internally to determine what had happened and to sort the fact from the rumor.  Since then, there have been additional comments made by participants and others on Ridecamp.  The WSTF is gathering information from those actually involved and will be posting the results of this investigation, probably on the Tevis website, when available.
