Re: More farrier stuff...sorry

I usually tell you guys to "communicate" with your farrier and find a
solution. This guy sounds like a first class ass (sorry mules and
donkeys...no offense). Did he even use calipers (or anything else to
measure the length of toe and match them) or an angle gauge? The
impertinence of calling you "lady" is what really got me going to begin
with. If he isn't willing to come back out and fix the problems you can see
and be respectful of you even if he does think you are stupid (we know you
aren't), then you better find someone quick! If he thinks he is so good, he
should at least be able to come out and measure for you to show you the
angles and lengths of toe match...actually, you could measure that yourself
and mention to him that you are concerned that they don't match. I know
there is a way to gauge angles with measurements but I don't know how to do
it...if you can SEE a big difference with the naked eye and it's not due to
funky lines or something that throw the eye off, they are probably off.
Good luck!! Let me know how it turns out. Guys like him make it easy for
the good ones to look good!! :)
