(12' total)&nbsp; The reins attach near the horse's ears, go down the cheek thru a ring attached on the nose band, then thru another floating ring on under side of the noseband, and cross at that point, then back to the rider's hands.&nbsp; It is kinda difficult to explain.&nbsp; I bought the non-slip biothane reins, however when I purchase my next "bitless bridle" I will opt for the leather.<�/FONT>&nbsp;<�FONT face=Arial size=2> Hope this helps you.&nbsp; <�/FONT><�/DIV> <�DIV><�FONT face=Arial size=2>Lindak &amp; Raz<�/FONT><�/DIV><�/BODY><�/HTML>
