If you don't mind killing everything green that it touches...

Round Up.

If you are going to re-seed, then this makes sense, but if you have lots of vegetation that you want to save...it doesn't  It kills everything it gets on, all the way down to the root.  I use it on my poison oak.

It is pretty safe for stock.
