I wear tights and you can find a pair of cheap tights
at Wally World (WalMart) or Target (pronounced
Tarjjjay) :).  Half chaps are nice, but not necessary,
if you add a pair of nylons underneath the tights.  

some folks grease their bums, but be careful to use
your reading glasses cause a guy I know grabbed a tube
of BenGay instead of Desitin during a vet stop at a
ride and he was literally in the hot seat for the rest
of the ride!!!  Tee Hee!!!

Just carry and drink plenty of water, with watered
down fruit juice at stops.
