Re: RC: Re: Re: LD and BC

We're planning to use the vet score section of the BC worksheet again
this year. Riders liked getting the form back, so they could see how
they did.

I read the LD finishers in completion reverse time order, used
Angie's method of giving the one who finished the earliest an entry
to this year's 50. (And he's gonna enter the 50 this year, too. ;-)
)

I'll be posting the LD finish times here on ridecamp this year--we
submit the times as required by AERC, who chooses not to publish them
in EN. I'm very against the idea of LD as a race (broken record, to
some) but like the idea of riders being able to compare their
placement to that of others. It's not about where they finish, as
much as being able to compare approaches--such as, I saw that horse
having trouble in the vet check, which had passed me early on the
first loop, finished behind me.

And in Ember's so far undistinguished career, a highlight was maxing
the BDAT scores at Terry's first Warner Springs for first BC. We
were somewhere in the mid-twenties of the 60 or so finishers.
