Ok, now document the cases where you've seen that done. Not hearsay, not 
cheap campfire talk, but where you've actually witnessed it and the rider is 
still walking on two legs with a full set of teeth. 

It seldom, if ever, happens. Cite a case, please.  Any case where you know 
for sure that "Abuse it beating a horse  with, spurs, crops, sticks etc. 
until he shuts down mentally and just endures the pain" actually occurred. 
Name the horse, name the rider, cite the proof. Otherwise, get a job writing 
the script for the next "Freddie" movie.
