Okay, you are talking exactly about my setup-as I have a camper that size and a bumper pull trailer (20 ft. stock). My friend has a 10.5 ft. Lance and she also has a bumper pull. first of all, any hitch that probably came with the truck will be inadequate. I believe the new hitch I had put on is rated for 14,000 lbs-having the EXTENSION or stinger on the back will take that rating and blow it in half I was told. I get away with it because I have an aluminum trailer, but what I still need to do, and what you would probably have to do is have an additional LATERAL brace you can bolt onto the stinger, back to the hitch, making a V. This will help with the lateral torque. My stinger is also solid metal........... MAKE SURE that when you have this whole thing done that they put the trailer back far enough that you can 1-open the camper door!. and two, not jackknife the rig and put the camper jacks through the nose of the trailer. If you DO punch a hole in your nice new trailer, remember that a big AERC round sticker covers it nicely!! Yes, it can be done. If it makes you feel any better, I haul 5 horses in a bumper pull trailer, with hay on top and a big water tank. Someday when pear season starts I will load up 5 horses in the trailer, drove over to the packing sheds and weigh the whole rig and find out what it REALLY weighs! Also keep in mind, with that huge and rig, the camper really helps stabilize the truck, but the dually sure helps!!!! We are in the process of buying a camper, but the best one for our purposes is 9'6", hangs over the truck bumper, so we'd need an extension for the trailer. The idea makes me totally nervous > > > =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= > Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net. > Information, Policy, Disclaimer: http://www.endurance.net/RideCamp > =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= > >
