Maybe someone has already clarified this, but Mr. Babson is the oldest 
breeder that is still alive and a member of the Registry today.  There are 
"older" breeders, but none that are still personally around.  
Example--Davenport was "older" and there are still straight Davenport horses, 
but Davenport himself is no longer with us.
