Actually...grizzlies are just as leery of us as we are of them(so they
say)..this one didn't seem particularly alarmed..just sort of ambled slowly
off into the brush...as long as there aren't any baby bears around they
generally don't bother people on horses...although...if Dale is handy...he's
got an AMAZING story of being chased  at a dead run (on a horse) down a
Glacier Park trail by a pissed off mama grizzly...His daughter was with him
and, if I remember right, she fell off her horse during the pursuit...Great
story(especially because no one got hurt!)
