Tevis Advice

I would appreciate advice from anyone that has done the Tevis as to which 
pads would be better for the rear feet - full pads or rim pads?  The folks at 
Shocktamers feel that the rim pads would be the way to go for the back feet 
and full pads on the front.  What do you suggest?  Thanks!
