Emergency dismounts?

This talk of dismounting on the fly and taking lessons in how to do so
is interesting.  My husband's new, inexperienced horse just fell with
him on gravel.  Hubby went off over horse's shoulder and is still
hobbling around after over a week.  Horse is fine.  So hubby offers to
rent his horse out for "unloading lessons."  Ha, ha.
