I think I mention "pulsing down" so much to make the point that order of
finish in an LD is NOT necessarily the order in which you ARRIVE into the
finish.  Hence, racing in doesn't mean anything if your horse isn't able to
recover and pulse down before the guy hot on your tail does (which is a
JOKE....I don't think people are racing in and if they are, having to pulse
down and meet 60bpm to finish should discourage that.)
