Hey!  I'm in the process of reading that book right now, and it
IS excellent.  My mom gave it to me, saying that it was one of
the few books she's read that she was sorry when it ended.  I
think I will feel the same too.

I've never really followed racing, and didn't think I'd be much 
into the story line, but I am surprisingly hooked.

And Justa Bob IS quite the character.  I keep getting a mental
image of my own horse whenever he comes up in the plot.  I think because of the part about routinely pooping in inappropriate places :)
