Re: Russian Arabs

Yeah this horse I am looking at is out of a Muscat Grandson. All this
stud's babies are very small looking when born, but he matured to 15.1h.
He's in his second crop right now so can't tell how big they'll eventually
get. Plus the 2 yr. old that I am looking at for the trade had a tough
first year, the woman that owned the mare didn't take good care of them and
so the stud's owner bought them from her when the colt was 1, or something
like that. So I'd say he was starved in his first year, and then not that
well fed in his second year either. He is a body score of 4.5 right now, I
like to see at least a 5-6 in a growing horse. He isn't tall, but his legs
are HUGE, he may be 13.3h right now and he just turned 2, but he is all
legs, I am going to measure for height and weight tonight. My vet knows the
horse and doesn't think he'll reach full potential. I think he's young
enough that if I get him now I may make a difference where he'll actually
reach his potential. What do you all think?

Cheryl
