To put that amount of salt in perspective, Suans talking about:

1 Tablespoon of salt weighs about 18 grams, or 0.63 oz.
So 6 tablespoons of salt is 108 grams, or about 3.8 oz.

Minimum daily requirement is about 30 grams (not quite 2 TBS).

I think to lick even then minimum daily requirement
from a block would be quite a feat.
