Ditto from me Dave and Tracey,

I have had both experiences,  Dogs on the trail seem to understand that they
are all going the distance with their owners.

However, (SOME) dogs on the beach and along the road, tend to be real
attackers.

And how about the ones in the back of their trucks that lunge bare their
teeth and scare the whatsit out of you and your horse,  who need it?
