Ah..the art of cheating

    Well, Ridecampers I just want to run this by some of you.  Question is;
"Why do some riders feel that they are above the rules?"
    Just in the last few months I have encountered a couple of strange
experiences of riders, lets say, bending some of the rules of our AERC.
    One of the first ones this year was a horse I sold that was ridden in a
50 miler as a 4 yr. old.
    The second one was a person that was going to buy her way into an already
filled up ride. This was found out by a number of people that were trying to
get into the ride and the rider backed out of the $500. offer that they were
going to offer, just to get into the ride.
    The last one is a mistake this time, I'm sure, but this was experienced
before a couple of years ago and it was brought to my mind today. It started
to make me wonder if this goes on more than we think. The rider seems to
have more than one horse that has the same name and same AERC number?
Strange, isn't it?
    Just wondering???
