lymphangitis

I have a nine yr old Thoroughbred broodmare who is currently suffering from 
a 4th reoccurance of lympangitis  in a year.  She never had this disease 
previously .  I'm now having her treated by the 6th vet to try and treat the 
problem.

Can anybody help?  I've also consulted with several vets from Ohio State - 
no help.

All the research I've read says it is incurable, but maybe someone has had 
some luck with something that will help.
