RE: AERC International

Could someone enlighten me as to why AERC International is a separate
organization anyway? I have no plans to compete internationally, but would
gladly pay the extra $10 to be rolled into the regular membership dues. Bet
when it becomes "optional" then I wouldn't "join" because my personal goals
do not include international competition. That doesn't mean I don't support
the efforts.

And I find it amusing about the two sides "borrowing money" from each other.

Okay, okay - I'll send in my $10!

People vote with their feet and their billfolds. If you support
international,
then join. Currently only about 5% care enough to join. Talk is cheap. If
you
care enough to send an E-mail for support, then send AERC a check for $10.00
to
join AERC Int.

Just think what it looks like to the other equestrian organizations involved
in
international competition when only 5% of the only US endurance organization
supports international endurance competition.
