This sounds familiar!  I was asked to help at a 4-H CTR a number of
years ago, and agreed.  I was reading their rule book before hand and
reached a part where it stated that the horses should be given grain
only on the morning of the ride, NO HAY!  I almost flipped out.  The one
advisor was rather put out with me but I had to refute that!
