They took in over 400 animals the first 24 hours and more are coming as the hours go by. They need sheets, towels, blankets, chew toy for cats and dogs, temp. litter boxes and many more things - they have had some item

donations. If you live nearby please send any of the items above. If at a distance, please call regarding sending money donations. They have no idea how long they will have to care for these animals.

They will try to get them all back to their owners. People have called and told them they had to leave their cats and dogs, and the shelter has gone out and collected what they could - others are being brought in. Volunteers

would also be very helpful if you are near enough to help. Please call if you are interested in volunteering.

At a time like this, authorities have to care for the people and their
children - it is animal lovers that need to pitch in and help the cats,
dogs, birds, horses, etc.
