I couldn't find any references for acidosis ruminants, where ketosis is a
lot more prevalent.  I wonder if it would even be possible in horses,
practically speaking, since they have better gluconeogenesis pathways
available.  Seems you'd have to be doing some pretty weird and extreme
things to get a horse that ketotic, and would probably have long since
killed it along the way.
