Re: RC:   downhill at speed
I own this movie (well, a copy of it . . .).  Have watched it a thousand 
times. Yep, this is what it looks like alright.  That horse does not look as 
though his weight is on his rear end . . . rather, it looks as though the 
rider is keeping his weight as far back as possible, to help his horse, who 
looks as though he is running to "catch up" with a center of balance thrown 
far forward by the incline.  But, I'm no physicist . . .
<< The images I remember from Snowy river are of a guy leaning back so his 
head 
 is bouncing off the butt of his horse and the horse plunging nose down. Or 
 did I miss the part where physics was turned upside down?
