I think you need to come chase some of these good downhill horses down the 
trail and see how easy it really is--and ride the good ones and the poor ones 
and feel the difference.  When you ride a horse that can do an extended trot 
down a steep hill and make it feel like a smooth glide and look like child's 
play, you get the idea...  Just an interesting note--these guys are SO free 
on their fronts that the only stumbles one ever gets are in the HIND end.  
And to be honest--I felt safer going full bore downhill on my old foundation 
stallion than I do in my car on the Interstate in LA...
