Re: Howards post and beating dead horses



You're right.  Unfortunately the last paragraph of my post was not taken as
meant.  I just wanted to know the meaning of some words - wet-back (which I
now know), Yankee and honky (still unclear on the latter) NOT to get into a
discussion on site as to whether these are monstrous or not.

It also appears that I have offended people by posting my request for info
on site.  Sorry, but as you're American and I'm not, and as the word came up
on site, I thought I'd dive in and ask what has been bugging me for some
time.

So, once again, I apologise to everyone on RC.  Perhaps Angie should add
something to the oath about the exact wording such apology could take, so I
could save it to disc and send it in once a week or so ...
