jackie-- the od issue was with my mare- not sure if it was the long trip
- trailer issue- but she coliced very slight-never started, she acted up
on Thursday one day after we got there.. not treated except for
banimine.. never did figure that one out -- the blood test proved
nothing- think that was another issue
she came home 100 % in the heat of the day and looked great - did a fast
50 - 2 weeks later.. go figure..

i am now re-thinking my pre- race protocol.. 

i did about the same thing at million pines..pre race-- but he ate more
on thrus and fri - had a buddy along.. i think that had allot to do with
it..

as i will say in the next post-- he will have his buddy - then he will
eat more..
i will be going slower-- even if i have to get off and manage him
better.

i will share with all some of what i think went wrong.. been making
notes all day ..
