No one is saying anyone has to spend $15,000 on an endurance horse.  But how about more than dog food prices?  How about a realistic price based on real costs for breeders?

People don't care what it cost you to raise a horse. That is the chance you take when you get into business. You may have a horse that you think is worth $5000. Unless you find a person who wants to spend $5000 for that horse you either lower the price or eat the horse. You are in a high risk business.
