>EVALUATION STANDING EVALUATION:

>LAWNCHAIR LIFT: Base upon rider's ability to rise from a
standard Score 1 - 10 lawnchair unassisted

Excellent post >bg< , but would you mind terribly if I suggest a few more
areas for evaluation?

HAIR: Dry, combed hair would rate as a 10. The other end of the scale ,
or a "0" would be Matted, sweat soaked, bangs plastered back to head
with forehead bare, ponytail holder hopelessly matted into hair. Riders
who do not compete in a helmet will receive an automatic "0" for unfair
tactics.

CLEANING UP THE VET CHECK: A "10" would mean that the rider had actually
retreived their own tack, buckets, sponges, feed tubs, etc. and FILED
THEM BACK WHERE THEY BELONG. A "0" would be given to the rider who
handed over the horse to the crew for the final vetting, staggered back
to the trailer and slept while the crew picked up all their buckets
(along with a few of the neighbors') stacked them with remnants of sponge
water and dirty sponges still inside, and tossed sand covered girth, 1/2
chaps, used syringes and splint boots into the wrong storage containers
so that it takes the riders weeks to track down the slowly molding
remains.

THE WALK DOWN THE RUNWAY This can be combined with your earlier lawn
chair lift. How does the rider look walking up to accept their award. A
"10" would be given to the rider who nimbly hops over dogs and does the
"T-Berry Shuffle" when they get their trophy hoofpick. A "0" would be a
rider who stays in their chair and sends the nearest child up to accept.

UNLOADING THE TRAILER: A "10" would be the rider who pulls up the
driveway, turns out the horse, unhooks the trailer, and then proceeds to
UNLOAD all their junk immediately. A "0" would be the rider who simply
puts the truck in "park" goes in the house...drives the "other" car for 3
days before bothering to unhook the trailer, and doesn't unload the dirty
laundry from the trailer until they're getting ready to pack for the
*next* ride.

Anybody else want to add a few?
Angie
