I have to agree with Tammy.  The horse and rider did the work.  The horse
gets the points so the owner benefits from the increase in value of the
horse.  I think the owner should be grateful that they have someone
responsible and capable to ride their horse.

I have had other people ride my horses in rides.  If they ride a good ride
and win BC and take care of the horse then, I would let them keep the award.
What would I do with the award?  It goes on the horses records and that is
enough for me as a owner.  It's my way of saying to the rider... Thank You!
