In regards to the Deadman ride I wanted to share a few words.

This was my first official/organized endurance ride and Duke's second event/first finish.  We did the 30 which was perfect for the both of us.
The trails were far better than many we have been training on and it was wonderful to see such beautiful country that isn't normally opened up to 'the general public'.  

Shame on the people who are complaining about having to know how to and take there horses pulse.  This should be a natural course of events for all riders as far as I'm concerned.  I am very grateful to have had a refresher course.  Thank you
