Hi Wolfgang,

Well at least this an interesting thread and most of
us may learn something by hearing different methods.
I was specifically talking about putting LSD miles on
a horse to prepare it to begin 50 mile rides, with the
assumption that it would not be asked to race at 1st.
Certainly I agree that one wouldn't ask a horse to
do that kind of mileage at intensity and its probably
not needed when they are competing regularly.
