I would reread your letter then. This
statement, "I have a hard time trying to
swallow the part about the lowly oil field
hand." sounds to me like you are saying
that I was not being honest about the
conditions of the oil field workers and
their families, esp. after stating how oil
field workers had more then one house,
lots of cars and fancy toys. 

All I can say to you is, "Don't judge a
man until you have walked a mile in his
shoes." And that goes for the people who
live in your area too.
