Bear in mind, I was just defining it...not necessarily promoting it.
Negotiating is always a better way....tho the Park Dedication Ordinance is a
GREAT way to maintain links that might be lost through development.  In some
respects the results are similar to PR....and...it occurs, as said
previously, when the land is sold and or the land use changes...usually by
development.
One of the Tapes I mentioned is about the Park Dedication Ordinance and what
a great job it did for Walnut Creek, Calif.
Of the four tapes In that series...three of them were originally produced
under Trails Unlimited by George Cardinet and myself...back in t he
1970's...and all are still relevant today...they were available as slides
then...that was before video tapes were so available.
