Re: Fw: center-fire cinching question

I use this type of rigging and a plain old western cinch works fine. You run
your tie strap through the ring on the cinch, up to the "extra" ring, back
down to the cinch, back up to the "regular" ring on the saddle, back through
the ring on the cinch and then tie it off on the extra ring. Sounds
complicated written down, but is really as simple as can be. I like this
rigging because it keeps the girth out of my horse's sensitive elbow. I use
a fleece covered nylon girth I bought from Country Supply, it is shaped like
a triangle, designed for roping saddles I think. Works great.
