You get no argument here. I am reminded almost every day how fortunate I am
to live in a country where I can think and speak my own words and thoughts
without fear. I was riding in the mountains today and my friend and I were
commenting on what a diverse and beautiful country America is. That we can
immerse ourselves in our passion (horses for those who haven't guessed as
much) without being rich or beholden to anyone. Several years ago, I went on
a trek in Nepal and hiked to the base of Mt. Everest. I saw spectacular
mountains and scenery and met some of the most gentle and beautiful people
on earth. When I stepped off of the plane in Seattle one month later, I
wanted to kiss the ground. Nope, you get no arguments here.
