Yes, gas does require lots of compression, plus of course hydrogen is
extremely explosive.  But the point of the algae article I think was
that if small amounts could be constantly produced and used right away,
the danger factor is much lower.  I'm not sure how the experimental
cars that now run on the hydrogen fuel cells are dealing with the issue -
it's something I have to look into some more.  Lif
