 ** In both clinic formats, discussion  will be guided by the participants
level of experience, knowledge and questions.**  Although the clinics follow
a repeating theme, we hope to cover difference specifics throughout the
summer, especially during the conditioning clinics.

 Basic Clinic Topics:
 *Understanding Conditioning Programs, Basic Conditioning, Judging Fitness
 *Setting Endurance Goals, Realistic Short-Term and Long-Term Goals
 *Danger signs, potential problems during conditioning and on the trail
 *Understanding the 'Vet Check', criteria, presenting your horse  morning:
discussion and in-hand practice
* afternoon: Three 3-mile loops to practice pacing, charting recoveries,
practice 'vet' checks.

 Conditioning Clinic:
 * More in-depth on conditioning.  Most of the day on trail.  Focus on
judging and improving managing the horse on trail and in camp, presenting to
the vet, pacing and ride strategy.  riders will have the option of going
with various group leaders at pre-set paces and distances)

 Location: Six-O Ranch, Cleburne, Tx

 Price: $35 for one day, or $50 for the weekend.  No additional charge for
the night rides if you sign up for one of the days. (Jr's $15 per day).  No
overnight or camping charge.
