 Hi Jaye,

my horse, Ninja 11, is twisting both hind feet since I own him. He came
originally from Poland at the age of 3, I bought him when he was 3 1/4. From the
very beginning he twisted the hinds. My farrier, who had learned his job from
Mr. Roeder, a well known "hoof-man" here in Germany, tried everything to stop
this, with no success. What do you mean by "improper trimming and balance"?
The twisting is one reason why we changed now from Marathon to iron horse shoes
again. The Marathons at the hinds were worn off within 100 km (62 miles) of
light work. At the front they will hold for approx. 200 - 300 km (120 - 180
miles).
If you like I can take some pics of the hind hooves to give you an idea.

Thanks in advance,

Wolfgang + Ninja 11 (doing the twist)
