We tent when we'll be somewhere for a few days. 
Otherwise we simply sleep on the floor of our dressing
room.  (Big enough for 2 cozy people and their foam
mattresses.  Carries 50 gallons of water & a
porta-potty.)

One year we were camping slightly to one side of our
trailer in a medium-sized dome tent.  It was late
(near midnight) when we heard a late rig pulling into
camp for the night.  <Roll over, try to go back to
sleep>  <grumble>

Then, we heard them backing into a slot next to us. 
<sigh>  As they backed up, I heard the fellow helping
to guide them call out, "Watch out for that little
green tent.  It's almost under your wheels!"  <YIPES> 
Who needs buffaloes?  We moved to the trailer dressing
room for the rest of the night.

Definitely a tenting hazard!
