There are 'right of way rules' because they are necessary, but they aren't
written in stone. There is common curtesy and common sense. It applies
across the board and if there was more of this, life would be more fun. I
sure appreciate the guy with the pack string that pulls into the meadow and
waits for me while I come down a steep slope with a single horse. I am also
willing to do the same with a string of hikers. My horses are trained to
motor bikes, and I will wave them by as well.
