There is a "keeper strap" that can be used to keep easyboots from getting 
lost.

It hooks onto the easyboot "back strap" and the Velcros around horses 
pastern.  It is best to try it at home first to make sure your horse doesn't 
get upset if easyboot starts flopping around his "ankles".  I have used this 
strap and it is great.  No more lost boots.

Okay, inventors...why can't someone devise a beeper that tells when the
Easyboot separates from the hoof?  Microchips can do EVERYthing...could
power it with a solar panel.  Just wipe the mud off from time to time to
keep it charging.  And...whoever does it and successfully markets it, will
you please give me a set or two of the things as a royalty?
