Chef d' Equipe and Vet Meetings
The first formal meetings of the Chef d' Equipe and Veterinary staff for all Endurance Squads was held this morning at 9:00am at the main conference center at the Dubai Endurance City. The meeting was to cover particular aspects of the competition which will effect all competitors.The primary focus of the meetings are to provide forums for information flow between the FEI officials and the Competitors. Course details, scheduling of special meetings, inspection schedules, and uniformity of rules applications are generally discussed.
Additionally, all team crewing area allocations and setup timing are generally discussed so as to enable the teams to begin their final logistical preparations prior to moving into the crewing areas.
The meeting was closed to only the Chef d' Equipe's, the OC representatives, and the FEI official staff.
So far .... no surprises have been reported.
