Biography of Karen Paulo Karen Paulo is a freelance writer who also endurance rides, is a professional Equine Massage Therapist, and is a small Arabian breeder. She and her daughter, Andi, and husband, Al, live on a small farm near Vale, OR. Karen has written many articles for major publications and authored the book, "America's Long Distance Challenge" which is presently sold out. She hopes to update the material and reprint. Karen has ridden over 17,000 American Endurance Ride Conference miles and has won numerous Regional and National awards with Moka's Pat-A-Dott, Arab x Appy, and Zapped+/, Arabian, both horses have over 5,000 AERC miles each. She has a coming 2 yr old purebred Arabian colt, Z Mufaurwa, by FV Stoic out of the Aulrab daughter, Aura Alya who is a rare Pinto colored mare. The Paulo's are looking forward to the birth of two foals this year. One from Fancy Flyer, (My Arabi Kabir x MA Lady Beauzika) a homebred mare in foal to a 3/4 Arabian Pinto, Gigolos Star (Justa Gigolo x Dahura Camaro). And Aura Alya (Aulrab x Shawzi) is in foal to Blazen Far (Kilauea Fire x Alysann). [Back]
