The Southwest Idaho Trail & Distance Riders seek to promote efforts to develop and maintain equestrian trails and trailer parking areas at trail heads throughout southwest Idaho.

Objectives include but are not limited to the following:

· Cultivate good relationships with private landowners to ensure continued access to trails.

· Coordinate with public agencies to focus on equestrian needs and interests.

· Work with other equestrian groups to broaden support for common goals and interests.

· Promote trail use consistent with trail conservation practices.

· Communicate and cooperate with other trail user groups to ensure continued access to multiple-use trails.
