I did the Applegate Lassen Multiday ride a few years ago and loved it. It is
on a pioneer trail and the feeling of history is wonderful. There is even
some pioneer grafitti in some caves. Natural hot springs at the end of the
day are real treats. It is really out there. Not much in the way of
civilization. Be prepared for major cold!!!
