Does any one know of Rides or Riders in the Vancouver Washington area? I
have an aunt who has pleasure horses who is starting to think she might be
interested in Endurance. I don't think she has e-mail so I need to get a
few addresses or phone numbers for contact people in that area. Since I
am in the middle of the Midwest I don't know much about that area. I do
know that she wants me to come and visit and says once I come to visit
"you'll never want to leave" She is also originally from the mid west.
Any contacts or leads will be helpful. I thought if I find out about
rides in that area she could contact the manager to volunteer to help
out....which is my idea of the best way to learn about any type of
sport...OJT (on the job training) those of you Newbies ought to try
working a ride before you start, it gives you a little more understanding
of vetting, how a ride flows etc... from an entirely different perspective.
